designed RIT Rope
Safety System, was created to
stop fire fighters from becoming disoriented while rescue searching wide
areas with ropes. Firefighters can easly define the
correct distance and direction and avoid life threating situations. The
Search Line Safety system is inexpensive,
simple to install, easy to understand, and a
safety device you can't afford to be
without.
Search lines are deployed
during large area rescue operations. Orientation
is always a difficult problem faced by Firefighters as they enter smoke filled
environments. The RIT
Rope Safety System
uses a "Universal" direction
indicating system that allows firefighters to identify specifically how far into the
structure they are and the direction of travel to exit immediately if the conditions become life threatening. It fits ropes 3 / 8" to 7 / 16" diameter. |
